Our Staff

Preventive Care Specialists- Dental Hygienists

Lisa Teachey is originally from Trenton and currently resides in New Bern. She started her dental career as an assistant in 1987 before receiving her dental hygiene degree from Coastal Community College in 1998. She has been a hygienist with our office for over 10 years.

Lisa and her husband, Eddie, enjoy riding big motorcycles, boating, and socializing with friends. They have an 8 year old son and a 21 year old son.

Stacy Lincoln hails from Bailey, NC and is currently residing in nearby Pollocksville. She received her dental hygiene degree from Coastal Community College in 1998 and has been a hygienist in our office for 5 years.

Stacy and her husband, Sam, enjoy their family time, boating, nesting bluebirds, walking the beach, and riding her Harley. They have a 13 year old son.

Dental Assistants

Lynn Butler is originally from Middletown, NY and has live in Maysville, NC for 12 years. She has been a dental assistant for 30 years, working in our office for 11+ years.

Lynn and her husband, Ed, have 1 son and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys crafts, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family (especially the grandkids!).

Sherry is a native of New Bern and currently resides in Emerald Isle. She has over 25 years of dental experience as a receptionist and dental assistant. Sherry was one of Dr. Hand's dental assistants in the early 80's and rejoined his office in 2006.

Sherry enjoys her garden, the beach, and most any outdoor activity.

Patient Resource Team

Connie Brown is originally from Clinton, NC and currently resides in the Fairfield Harbor community near New Bern. She attended Campbell University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Winston Salem State University and worked in medical management and industrial relations before joining the office as office manager/insurance coordinator in 1988.

Connie and her husband of 34 years, Bryan, enjoy dancing, audio books, and a happy home life.

Dee Willis is originally from the DC (Down the County) town of Arapahoe. She has lived in New Bern for 36 years and, as receptionist/accounts manager, has been the first person most patients see or talk to for 19 years in our office.

Dee and her husband of 42 years, "TW", have 1 daughter and 4 grandchildren whose pictures are always within easy reach. She enjoys her family, travel, gardening, and snow skiing.

Janice Tucker is originally from Martin County, NC but has lived most of her life in New Bern. With over 30 years of dental office experience, she has worked for 17 years with Dr. Hand as a patient coordinator and dental assistant.

Janice has two grown daughters and enjoys her yard, computers, and various community and church activities.
